Our client, an international working computer retailer, is looking for a

Graduate Information Management Consultant (m/f) for a permanent position.

Your tasks will be:

You will work as consultant on the pan-IOT (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Information Management Business Partner Technical Enablement Team. The team provides support for strategic information management business partners in the following areas:

·         Enablement of partner solutions and applications

·         Technical support in critical projects and first of a kind deployments

·         Continuous technical product and project support

·         Technology assessments

·         Customized workshops, education, and certifications

Your job as consultant will be to provide the following services to our business partners:

·         Application development assistance

·         Application/architecture design review

·         Technical integration & porting assessment

·         Database design review

·         Early adopter/critical implementation support

·         Customized education

·         Installation and configuration & performance tuning

·         Porting/Integration assistance

·         Skills transfer to sales team

The job involves travelling onsite to the business partner location or an InnovationCenter, therefore you must be flexible to travel.

Skills & Knowledge:

You have completed your study of computer sciences or a related field of study and gained some first technical experience with software, and solutions, preferably comprising DB2 or other Information Management Products (e.g. Content Manager). Required for this job is a basic knowledge in DB2 or other Information Management products such as Content Management. Experience with DB2 in topics such as SQL, API programming, administration or new fields like XML DB are desired. The candidate must be willing to dive into these topics and to gain expert level skill. The candidate must have a strong technical background and the ability to quickly pick up new topics and gain knowledge on new releases or new products in the information management sector.
